Regular price $215.00 Sale

Our iconic Viognier, featured in Michel Bettane’s ‘World Greatest Wines’ has been kept in pristine condition in our temperature controlled Vintage Wine Vault. An experience not to be missed!

Vintage 2010+

We picked our 2010 Viognier on the 11th April at a tiny low yield of 750g per vine. It has retained the deep yellow colour of the ripe grapes and offers a heady wine with rich aromas and flavours of apricot, peach and tropical flowers.

Hans' Winemaking Comments+

'Destemmed and gentle pressed was followed by a wild yeast fermentation in French oak puncheons (500lt). The young wine went through a secondary fermentation with its lees regularly stirred. Aged for 12 months in the same barrels before bottling.'

Original Tasting Notes+

Declared as one of the ‘World’s Greatest Wines’ - a true firework of flavours! Full-bodied with significant weight and texture balanced by a good acidity that provides a remarkable backbone to the wine.
