These grapes were selected from a single block on the Estate which has notably stony soil reminiscent of the terroir in Bordeaux and created in the style of a white Bordeaux.
An exuberant Sauvignon Blanc with aromas of creamy white fruits, mango and vanilla spice on the rich, full bodied palate. A backbone of zesty acidity balances the wine and adds finesse. Powerful yet delicate with a lingering finish.

We picked our Chardonnay on the 30th of March 2009 at a tiny low yield of just 630g per vine.
Defined by tremendously concentrated, ripe fruit flavours balanced by a sturdy structure, rich texture and great complexity. The epitome of elegance.
We picked our 2010 Viognier on the 11th April at a tiny low yield of 750g per vine. It has retained the deep yellow colour of the ripe grapes and offers a heady wine with rich aromas and flavours of apricot, peach and tropical flowers.
After a perfect, long dry autumn we handpicked less than 900g/vine of wonderful, physiologically ripe grapes for a vibrant and alluring Pinot.

Handpicked at only 500g per vine from the warm, sandy, gravely soil of our single vineyard, the grapes benefitted from a very long ripening period and warm summer – both ideal conditions to ensure great complexity and full physiological ripeness.
This velvety, dark-chocolaty Pomerol-blend is lavishly rich yet elegant with great finesse and suppleness. Wonderful aromatic fruit flavours of sweet dark berries with hints of spices, liquorice, fresh hay and cedar add to the great length. Full-bodied with silky tannins and fine acidity, this wine is a remarkable candidate for extended cellaring.
The Hans Herzog Montepulciano is produced from extremely low yields that results in amazingly high concentration levels. The 2008 vintage produced a full-bodied and deep dark cherry coloured Montepulciano bursting with power, concentration and texture.
A heady nose, displaying flavours of cranberry and dark ripe plums underpinned by liquorish and savoury overtones. This is a complex blend of intense ripe fruit enveloped by fine tannins. A voluptuous, smooth and delicate wine which will age gracefully over the next 15years.
