Vintage 2003+
Grapes were hand-harvested beginning of April with a low yield per vine. Volume was further reduced by poor flowering conditions in November 2002. Quality was superb.
Hans' Winemaking Comments+
This is an exceptional wine - beautifully concentrated with a velvety rich dark colour. This wine has flavours of plum, blackberry and black cherry with subtle undertones of spiciness and cedar. Grapes were hand-harvested beginning of April with a low yield per vine. Volume was reduced by poor flowering conditions in November 2002 and Hans’ low yield philosophy however quality was superb.
