Wander the vineyard, explore our working winery and barrel hall, then savour a seated tasting of rare, small-batch wines in serene, elegant surroundings. Opt for a blind tasting or let us curate each pour to your preference - every sip tells the story of place, time, and meticulous craft.

Herzog Vigneron Experience
An invitation to share time with Hans and Therese Herzog, two of New Zealand’s most respected vignerons. This is not a typical visit, but a rare chance to explore the heart of our estate and the minds behind its wines.
Your journey begins in the vineyard, where you’ll discover the nuances of our diverse terroir and Hans’ singular approach to viticulture. From there, step into the winery and barrel hall for a tasting drawn straight from the source.
The experience concludes with a private seated tasting in our stately private lounge adjoining the winery, a space once reserved for fine dining.

Therese’s vibrant warmth and Hans’ quiet brilliance promise engaging conversation, from their European roots to New World winegrowing, cellar secrets to global adventures.
This is no ordinary lunch, it’s a convivial feast of fine wines, shared stories, and seasonal dishes, thoughtfully composed and served generously. There’s no menu, no service staff, just honest hospitality in a relaxed yet refined setting.
