Hans Herzog embodies a unique synergy - his dual role of viticulturist and winemaker, ensures a deep understanding of how vineyard practices impact winemaking. As the owner, Hans operates without financial pressures or profit-seeking shareholders, meticulously cultivating diverse grape varieties in his organic vineyard, applying exceptionally low yields for impeccable fruit. With a degree as Viticulturist, a master's degree in Oenology, and over five decades of vintages, Hans remains a vigneron at heart, working hands-on in his vineyard. His willingness to work 24/7, and embracing the challenges posed by the diversity of grape varieties reflect his deep love for the world of wines, extending far beyond a few varietals. He lives and breathes his estate, dedicated to crafting only the highest quality wines, all meticulously handcrafted from our own vines.
