The Hans Connoisseur Club is a points-based loyalty programme where points unlock membership tiers and exclusive privileges. Earn points through enjoying and sharing our wines, and progress through the different club levels with increasing benefits and access.

MEMBER Questions

We use a points-based loyalty program. To sign up, simply click here to set up your account. You can then use the Hans Connoisseur Club widget in the bottom right corner to start earning points and unlocking exclusive rewards and benefits. As you reach each membership tier, the associated benefits and discounts become available on future qualifying purchases. Make sure you are logged into your account to accumulate your points.

Simply log into your account using the person icon in the top right-hand corner of the website or via the My Account tab on the Hans Connoisseur Club page.

Once logged in, you can view your points balance, current tier, available reward codes, and membership benefits directly from your account dashboard. Your points balance is also visible in the Hans Connoisseur Club widget located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

Each time you reach a new club tier, we will send you an email outlining your benefits and how to redeem them.

Absolutely. Our Hans Connoisseur Club is open to wine lovers worldwide.

Due to international freight restrictions and costs, some member gifts including wooden cases and Grappa are available for collection from our estate only. For wine orders, international members are welcome to contact us directly for personalised shipping quotes and the most suitable delivery options available.

Our minimum online order is 3 bottles, excluding larger formats and Library Collection wines.

Member pricing applies to current release wines when purchasing 6 bottles or more. Orders below 6 bottles, larger formats and Library Collection wines are excluded from member discounts, although eligible purchases will still earn points towards your membership tier.

To access your rewards and benefits, please ensure you are logged into your account when ordering online.

Your available rewards, benefits, and membership tier can be viewed at any time from your account dashboard.

If you have sufficient points but no rewards are showing, please contact us on +64 3 572 8770 or email wine@herzog.co.nz and we will investigate the issue for you.

Your points and membership will expire after 1 year of inactivity. Meaning if you have not ordered wine from us within a year of your last order your points will revert back to zero.

Our bookable experiences include all Wine Experiences at our estate as well as stays at our exclusive Vineyard Cottage. Platinum members and above enjoy preferred member pricing on these experiences.

Member discounts and rewards are unlocked once the required points threshold for a tier has been reached. Benefits do not apply retrospectively to the purchase that earned the tier but become available on subsequent qualifying purchases.
